Robotics challenges a student to think critically, strengthening reason and logic skills. Students work in teams, promoting leadership and social awareness.

Learning through physical interaction gives students a more tangible grasp of math and science. With Lego Mindstorms students will be able to create a variety of complex robots. Combined with 3D instructional computer applications, students can zoom in and rotate virtual models during each step, viewing the process from every angle. Everyone is free to design their own amazing creative inventions! These robots can even be operated remotely by mobile phone or tablet computer.

Making computer programming simple, easy and fun. Scratch is a programming language that makes it easy to create your own interactive stories, animations, games, music, and art -- and share your creations on the web. As young people create and share Scratch projects, they learn important mathematical and computational ideas, while also learning to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively. Younger students will learn programming using tools from Code.org, endorsed by Mark Zuckerberg! This site teaches children to code by playing popular video games like Angry Birds.
We have a dozen iPads at The X Kids, all loaded with the latest and most fun educational games. In addition to the latest apps from the best developers, we are constantly designing new educational games of our own to give our campers the biggest advantages in high-tech, digital learning. Campers learn math, reading, writing, spelling, and even chess in this unique environment. The hands-on nature of this equipment means the iPad learning station is ALWAYS FUN!
